Welcome from the Chairman of the CAEI
Emotional Intelligence has been around as an idea in the UK for 10 years. Now people are interested to know not just what it is, but also what it can do and how it can affect the bottom line. This one day conference, based on the practical approach of the Centre for Applied Emotional Intelligence, will focus on answering these questions. It will lead you to understand: Why is EI important? How do I measure it? How do I promote it? What do I and my organisation need to do about it? And it will be illustrated by examples of successful EI interventions in organisations. Also, all those attending the conference will be able to complete, free of charge, the IE  Individual Effectiveness questionnaire, and to have feedback on their profile at the conference itself.
